Dr. Madina Shikhverdieva always had genuine compassion and a heart for helping people. Through dentistry, she can really get to know her patients and help them work through any fears and anxiety to restore not only their smile, but also their confidence and self-esteem. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about prevention. Dr. Madina believes that by educating patients and providing high-quality, minimally invasive dentistry, people will be able to keep their teeth for life.
Originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Madina obtained her first doctorate degree in Dentistry from First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg in 2013. After practicing for a few years, she moved to the US in 2016 and resided in New York City. She continued pursuing her career and was accepted to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
During her time at school, Dr. Madina was involved in several research projects, and was awarded The Vernon Brightman Award for her accomplishments in the research field. After completing the Advanced Standing program, she obtained a Doctorate degree in Dentistry and could practice as a general dentist in the US. She is committed to constantly learning and keeping up with the latest modern techniques and technologies in dentistry, ensuring that her patients receive the best possible care. She stays active in the dental community and is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Madina enjoy playing the piano during her free time, which she finds very relaxing. Hiking, biking, and playing chess are also among her favorite activities.
